The grapes ripen on the slopes of S. Maddalena between 250 and 500 m above sea level, and then vinified respecting the centuries-old tradition of the S. Magdalene Classico. A wine that goes well with many dishes of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine.
Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Variety: Schiava and Lagrein Production area: classic area of S. Maddalena, on gravel soils. Harvest: from early to mid-October. Vinification: The selected grapes follow the traditional red vinification and, after fermentation, the wine ages in large oak barrels and then continues with aging in the bottle. Colour: intense ruby red. Bouquet: floral of violets and roses, fruity aromas of cherry and raspberry, typical scented of bitter almond and marzipan. Taste: full, velvety and persistent. Pairing: with meat dishes such as Carne Salada and tagliatelle with game ragout, smoked meats, dumplings, speck, pizza, pasta and cheeses. Serving temperature: 14-16° C Alcohol: 13% vol.
