Merlot is a grape of French origin that has been present for many years in Trentino with excellent results, especially in the foothills and valley floor vineyards. To express itself at its best, it needs loose soils, rich in not particularly fertile skeletons, able to favor an early ripening. Merlot La Vis is characterized by its rich deep ruby red color, and the elegant scent, with a fruity vein of blackberries and plums. On the palate it is balanced, full-bodied, with a sustained persistence.

Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Grape variety: Merlot Production area: Lavis (Sorni), Gardolo Exposure and altitude: West, South-West; 280 m a.s.l. sandy-loam, originating from alluvial debris at the bottom of the valley, sandy-sandy, deep, siltitic in the hills. Training system: guyot and simple Trentino pergola Planting density: 5,000 vines/ha Vinification: manual harvesting in the first ten days of October, fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, static decantation of the wine for 48 hours, malolactic fermentation in vitrified reinforced concrete tanks, aging on lysis for about 5/6 months, 90% in cement and 10% third and fourth passage French oak
