Serrano is a wine that expresses the typicality that distinguishes Rosso Conero Doc. It comes from the blend between Montepulciano and a small part of Sangiovese, both vinified with techniques aimed at enhancing fruit and pleasantness, typical of the production area close to the Adriatic Sea.
Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Grape variety: Montepulciano 85%, Sangiovese 15% Production area: Marche, Conero The Vineyard: The vineyards from which the Serrano is produced, are located in the two bottoms of Osimo and Ancona, on soils whose nature is mainly clayey and limestone. Yields are between 90 and 100 quintals per hectare. Harvest: Carried out both by hand and by machine, in the period that normally goes from the end of September to the end of the first ten days of October. Vinification: The grapes, destemmed and slightly pressed, are vinified in cryomaceration, a technique that aims to enhance the extraction of primary aromas of the fruit. The wine, after the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, is then aged in steel tanks for about 4-5 months. Serving glass: Medium-sized goblet with a spherical tendency to allow adequate oxygenation and development of aromas. Pairings: A particular vocation for stuffed pasta, grilled dishes, porchetta, game and braised meats, as well as a rich platter of aged and spicy cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18°C
