“LE FORNACI” LUGANA DOC 2021 - 1 0.75 lt bottle
After years of meticulous research in the Lugana area, we have selected the LE FORNACI vineyard, located in San Martino della Battaglia, on a particularly suitable ground. Of glacial origin, it is composed of stratifications of fine sediments such as clays, mainly limestone, and silt, interspersed with micro-organic deposits and mineral salts. The vineyards are bred with the typical “bow conduction”, that is, the two shoots remaining after pruning are bent in an arc and tied.
Grape varieties: 100% Trebbiano di Lugana.
Vineyard: San Martino della Battaglia, on the Verona side of Lake Garda.
Alcohol content: 12% Vol.
Aging: 5 months in stainless steel barrels.
Tasting notes: The color is full golden yellow, with an intense and rich flavor, with hints of peach on the broad and complete palate, with a sensation of almond and vanilla.
Pairings: fish dishes, soups, delicate meats and unseasoned cheeses.
Serving temperature: 12° C
“LE VOLPARE” SOAVE CLASSICO DOC 2021 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
The LE VOLPARE vineyard covers 10 hectares, of which 5 are in production, is aged between the ages of 12-18. Located at an altitude of about 250 m above sea level, the soil is mainly basaltic-lava (volcanic) and the plant is half Guyot and half in Pergola Veronese. The yield is about 70 quintals/ha and the harvest is still manual.
Grape varieties: 100% Garganega.
Vineyard: Le Volpare, on Mount Foscarino, in the Classic area of the municipality of Monteforte d'Alpone.
Alcohol content: 12% Vol.
Maturation: 6 months of aging in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes: The color is bright straw yellow, the aroma is elegant and delicately fruity. With a well-structured and harmonious flavor, with notes of almond.
Pairings: appetizers, risotto, fish, fresh and semi-mature cheeses.
Serving temperature: 10-12° C
“LE PRUNÉE” MERLOT IGT DELLE VENEZIE 2019 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
On our LE PRUNÉE estate in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, we have I also wanted to experiment with particular clones of non-native vines. Among these is the Merlot which here finds a mixed gravelly, alluvial soil. Severe pruning and a dense plant, with extremely low yields, allow us to obtain a grape of particular richness.
Grape varieties: 100% Merlot.
Vineyard: LE PRUNÈE vineyard in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella.
Alcohol content: 12.5% Vol.
Aging: 12 months in 65 Hl Slavonian oak barrels.
Tasting notes: Bright ruby red with violet reflections. The scent has a rich bouquet, with hints of raspberry. The palate is dense, soft and persistent.
Pairings: First courses with meat sauce, white meats and fresh cheeses.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
