ALICANTE TOSCANA IGT 2017 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
In the heart of the Maremma, it probably arrived on the Tuscan hills during the Spanish domination. Particularly appreciated for its composite bouquet and for its warm, austere, soft and velvety taste.
Grapes: 100% Alicante
Origin: “Poggio al Tufo” estate 66 hectares of vineyards in Pitigliano (Grosseto), in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. Bottinello vineyard.
Vinification: Traditional in red with long maceration.
Refinement: 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
Color: Intense ruby red
Bouquet: The nose is fruity, fragrant, slightly spicy, the notes are those of the undergrowth, Mediterranean scrub, red fruit jam.
Taste: In the mouth it is warm, structured, full and satisfying. Of great harmony, it closes with a slight return to the fruit.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Soft and structured, Alicante goes well with tasty and decisive dishes. Oven roasted red meats, particularly spicy.
ROMPICOLLO TOSCANA IGT 2019 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
This blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the vineyard called Rompicollo, which enjoys an excellent southern exposure and a soil rich in tuff.
Grapes: Sangiovese 60% - Cabernet Sauvignon 40%
Origin: Rompicollo vineyard, southern exposure, volcanic soil rich in tuff. High density: 6500 vines/hectare
Vinification: 10 days of fermentation at controlled temperatures in steel tanks.
Refinement: 12 months in 65 HL Slavonian oak barrels.
Color: Intense ruby red
Bouquet: intense aroma of ripe red berried fruits such as blackberries and raspberries
Taste: Balanced, with a good structure. Velvety on the palate
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: First courses, risottos, cured meats, white meats and fresh cheeses.
VERMENTINO TOSCANA IGT 2019 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
In the heart of Maremma, on volcanic soil, the Vermentino grapes have found their natural terroir and are expressed in a fresh, soft and gentle wine.
Grapes: Vermentino 100%
Origin: “Poggio al Tufo” estate 66 hectares of vineyards in Pitigliano (Grosseto), in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. Montebuono vineyard.
Vinification and Aging: 5 months in stainless steel barrels
Color: intense and bright straw yellow, with greenish hues
Bouquet: fine and balanced with aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruit and flowers,
Taste: Gentle and soft on the palate, good softness accompanied by the characteristic almond finish.
Alcohol content: 12.5% Vol.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Pairings: Thanks to its structure and freshness, Vermentino can accompany even rather elaborate fish dishes. Interesting pairing with rich appetizers and all fish and shellfish dishes, in simple preparations, without elaborate sauces.
