Terre Alte was founded in 1981 and is considered one of the most prestigious Italian white wines. The harmonious blend of Friulano, Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon grapes, grown in Rosazzo in the historic vineyards of the Terre Alte, creates an elegant and rich wine, with intense fruity and floral aromas. It is a wine of great structure and with aging it acquires a tertiary evolution of considerable complexity.

Vinification: The grapes are gently de-stemmed and left in maceration for a short time. Subsequently, it is softly pressed and the must obtained is clarified by decantation. Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon ferment at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks where they mature for about ten months. The Friulano, on the other hand, is fermented and is aged in small French oak barrels.
Aging: Pinot Blanc and Sauvignon mature in stainless steel tanks while the Friulian remains in small oak barrels. After a period of ten months, the wines are blended. The bottled wine was aged in thermo-conditioned rooms for about nine months.
Colour: intense straw yellow.
Bouquet: very complex, intense, multifaceted, with a great personality; with notes ranging from tropical fruits such as mango, passion fruit, avocado to Golden apple to hints of cream vanilla, pistachio, lemon balm, limoncello, grapefruit peel, stevia, almond paste.
Taste: powerful and with a remarkable character, tasty, soft and decisive entry, creamy, reminiscent of the juiciness of the pulp of tropical fruits; creamy notes with delicate spicy hints and caramelized pine nuts; it closes with an elegant and persistent aftertaste, slightly balsamic, with a great personality.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Pairings: Particularly suitable for fish dishes, excellent with vegetable-based first courses, white meats and cheeses.
Serving temperature: 14 - 15°C
