Produced with Sangiovese grapes coming from vineyards with very different characteristics, it is the second wine of the company. It stands out for its complexity, “elegance and the character that finds here a perfect expression of the “terroir” grape combination.

Package: 1 bottle of 0.75 lt Production area: Loc. Fonterutoli - Municipality of Castellina in Chianti (Si); Hedge vineyard: 260 m above sea level; Fonterutoli: 450 m above sea level; Belvedere: 300 m above sea level; Grapes: 95% Sangiovese; 10% Cabernet Sauvignone and 5% Merlot. Harvest period: handmade from 15 September (Sangiovese) and from 18 September (Cabernet Sauvignon). Fermentation temperature: 30° C Maceration time: 19 days Sangiovese ripening: 16 months in small 228 lt French oak barrels Cabernet Sauvignon ripening: 18 months in small 228 lt French oak barrels Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol. Color: impenetrable ruby color. Perfume: berries, aromatic herbs and cedar wood. Taste: rich, soft, balanced, with a long closure full of sweet spices and smoky tones. Pairings: Stewed game dishes, Tuscan croutons, aged Tuscan pecorino cheese, salami, pappardelle, tripe, Florentine arista, bird beans.
