Il colore dello Champagne Salon 1999 è di un giallo delicato al quale si mischiano riflessi verdi. In bocca, l'attacco ci rivela una materia raffinata e strutturata con un'effervescenza piena di grazia ed una mousse cremosa. Brioche, pane in cassetta, sono gli aromi che arrivano per primi, seguiti da profumi di fiori bianchi e mandorla. Il finale é persistente e risvegliato da note acidule di agrumi.

Delamotte is the fifth oldest maison in Champagne, founded in 1760 in Reims by François Delamotte, wine owner and magistrate of the city. Today it is a small champagne house of qualitative excellence. Located in the heart of Cote des Blancs , in Le-Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Delamotte house shares with its neighbouring house, Champagne Salon , the same ambition: they are in fact part of the same commercial group, share the same vineyards and have a common cellar head. The Salon is not produced in all the harvests, in the vintages when it does not see the light, its grapes all flow into Delamotte, including those of the legendary “Le Jardin Salon”, the vineyard of one hectare located exactly behind the maison. For those seeking elegance and purity of expression, Delamotte represents a sure value.
