Siris sparkling wine has a bright yellow color with greenish reflections. Intense, fresh aroma with fruity notes of Golden apple and wild flowers with an elegant and delicate note of yeast and dried fruit. Fresh, fragrant, dry, harmonious and velvety taste. Extremely fine and persistent perlage.
Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay (blanc de blancs) Production and Vinification Area: The only Gaierhof sparkling wine is produced with only Chardonnay grapes, harvested manually from high-hill vineyards in Sorni, Pressano di Lavis and in the Upper Val di Cembra. The climate and the strong temperature changes favor a perfect maturation of the Chardonnay, maintaining a marked acidity and fragrance of the grapes. The soft pressing of the whole grapes is followed by the cold static settling of the musts, which are sent to fermentation in 16-degree steel, with selected yeasts, for a duration of about 10 days. The aging phase on yeast lasts until the following spring, then the sparkling base is prepared for bottling and selected yeasts are added again for the fermentation, according to the traditional classical method, in compliance with the Trento Doc specification. Siris ages on the lees for 36 months, thus acquiring structure, elegance and complexity. Grape variety: Chardonnay, it has a rather small, compact and cylindrical bunch; with an amber-yellow berry, with juicy pulp and a neutral flavor. It has a medium-sized, three-lobed leaf. Pairings: Sparkling wine ideal as an aperitif and to accompany festive moments; excellent as a wine throughout the meal on fish and shellfish cuisine. Serving temperature: 6-8°C to be uncorked at the moment.
