The combination of a particular care in the cultivation of this old vineyard, the rigorous selection of the grapes and their meticulous vinification contribute to the creation of this extraordinary wine.

Packaging: 3 bottles of 0.75 lt Grapes: Corvina Veronese 70%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5% Provenance: “I Pianeti” vineyard of the IL SESTANTE Estate, is located in a hilly area and in a position privileged by great wine. Vinification and Aging: Manual harvest at the end of September; fermentation in steel barrels for about 9 days, is then refermented on the Amarone pomace for about 8 days, with continuous daily pumping over. Subsequently it ages for 15 months in 65 hl Slavonian oak barrels Color: intense ruby red Aroma: abundant and complex, of remarkable elegance, with floral notes Taste: good structure the palate, excellent balance, with hints of cherry and jam. Alcohol content: 13% Vol. Serving temperature: 8-10°C First vintage: 1987 Pairing: Roasts and medium-aged cheeses. Valpolicella Ripasso is soft and round, and also allows combinations with small game and aged cheeses.
