"LA GEMELLA" BARBERA D'ALBA DOC - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Last born in the Viberti house, her name is a dedication to Maria (twin by birth), wife of Giovanni Viberti, a woman of humble origins who made a fundamental contribution to the growth of the company and to her family.
Wine of great concentration, a particular sweetness and a nose with a clear and intense red fruit. The acidity complicit in the concentration makes the wine extremely elegant and fascinating. The Barbera d'Alba La Gemella also expresses its best potential in the hottest vintages. It is fermented with a submerged cap for 7-10 days. Before the alcoholic fermentation ends.
Grapes: 100% Barbera
Vinification: Vinification Thinning in the vineyard and selection during the grape harvest. Collection in boxes of 20Kg. After destemming-crushing, maceration and alcoholic fermentation on the skin takes place for 7-10 days in submerged cap roto-vinifiers.
Aging: After a short passage in wood for the malolactic fermentation, the storage of La Gemella takes place mainly in steel tanks.
Alcoholic content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C
Pairings: game, cheeses and cured meats

"BRICCO AIROLI" BARBERA D'ALBA DOC - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
It is a wine produced from a selection of two Barbera vineyards. The first vineyard located in the Bricco delle Viole cru dates back to 1950, while the second slightly younger was planted in 1955. Vinified as a Barolo, with longer fermentation with emerged cap than its younger sister Gemella, it is aged for 30 months in the same Tines used for Barolo, to then be bottled. Nose of black cherry and cherry, great finesse and elegance on the palate. Long in the mouth with remarkable persistence. A wine considered "Barolo" in its style, but above all thanks to its land of origin. Its highest expression is reached in the hottest years.
Grapes: 1010% Barbera
Vinification: Thinning in the vineyard and selection during the grape harvest. Collection in boxes of 20Kg. After the destemming-crushing, the maceration and alcoholic fermentation on the peel takes place in vertical cap emerged vinifiers.
Aging: Aging takes place in the same oak vats also used for Barolo for a period of about 30 months. Also in this case, as in the Barolos, the wood is not toasted.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18 ° C
Pairing: game, grilled pork, cheeses and cured meats.

"BUON PADRE" BAROLO DOCG - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Historic label of the Viberti family, it represents the essence of Barolo in its most classic and traditional expression. Born in 1923 by Cavalier Antonio Viberti, today this label after almost a century, is the result of the skilful assembly of 8 different crus, including between the municipalities of Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Verduno.
The style is characterized by a fresh acidity that comes from the highest vineyards, extremely traditional aromas and an imposing structure, but with soft and elegant tannins. The company's will is to avoid the perception of astringent tannins, thanks to the use of controlled fermentations and not too prolonged macerations.
Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo
Vinification: Thinning in the vineyard and selection during the grape harvest. Collection in boxes of 20Kg. After destemming-crushing, maceration and alcoholic fermentation takes place on the skins for 18-20 days, partly in submerged cap roto-vinifiers and partly in emerged cap vinifiers.
Aging: For 36-40 months in conical oak vats with an average capacity of 50 hl. The Buon Padre cuvée is the result of a careful blending of wines obtained from different crus / vineyards. Each single cru is harvested, vinified and aged individually. At the end of the same aging the final blend is created. A few weeks later the bottling takes place which does not require any type of filtration. A possible refinement of 3/6 months in the bottle before being released on the market.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Serving temperature: 18 ° C
Pairings: game, red meats, cheeses and cured meats

The history of the Viberti Giovanni winery begins when Cavalier Antonio Viberti buys the Good Father's Inn. It was 1923 when Antonio began to produce, in the Good Father's basement, wine for the guests of his Inn. The wines produced see BAROLO as the protagonist, as well as the most important denominations of Langa.
