A story that began in 1920 with the arrival of Nelly Dhondt's grandparents from Spain and Belgium. The maison is originally identified with the figure of Nelly who, after completing his studies in viticulture, in 1974 dedicated himself to family vineyards. “When I was expecting my second child, Michel, I became seriously ill and during childbirth I fell into a coma that lasted more than six months. When I woke up, with the father of my two children who fled with my best friend, I decided to work alone with the strength and love of my children. ” This is also the rebirth for Champagne De la Renaissance, a rebirth that takes strength from a great story of life and love. In 2007, the turning point with the entry into the company of his son Michel Bernard.
