Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil and lemon PRODUCTION PROCESS DESCRIPTION: For the majority of consumers, the dressing of extra virgin olive oils takes place through natural aromas of various kinds. And for this reason, thanks to the experience gained and the advice of our customers, the company wanted to adopt a different system in associating a lemon-based condiment with an excellent extra virgin olive oil. The selected first choice lemons are divided into four parts and pressed together with the olives. After the pressing process, the lemons together with the olives are kneaded with a maximum temperature of 25° for a journey time ranging from 30 to 45 minutes. Thanks to this kneading process, the oil absorbs all the fragrances from the peel, excluding for this purpose the lemon juice which is extracted by the centrifuge.
The Sanfilippo olive farm, located in Sicily in the heart of the Sicani Mountains, was founded in 1878 and has been producing in the district of Monti Sicani is a quality and 100% Sicilian oil.The variety of soils and altitudes allow cultivars to produce an oil with an intense green fruitiness and characterized by distinct multiplicity of flavour.Sanfilippo oil, ideal for everyday cooking and for those who love lightness, without sacrificing the delicacies of our tables, can be used to enrich various dishes, from the simplest recipes to the richest preparations.There is no doubt that Sanfilippo extra virgin olive oil is at its best raw, but it can also become a protagonist in the kitchen as an ingredient fundamental of many preparations.Sanfilippo oil is now proposed as an ideal model of nutrition in the Mediterranean diet.
