The acidulate of umeboshi is obtained by draining the acidulated and salty liquid that is produced by the seasoning of Umeboshi plums. It is used like a normal vinegar, but it is already salty: to dress a salad it is therefore It is enough to add just a little bit of oil.
Ohindo Acidulate is made with the same Japanese Ume plums, used to prepare Umeboshi. Fermented with salt and Shiso leaves in wooden barrels according to the traditional method, Ume plums produce this sour and salty condiment that is considered by connoisseurs as an ingredient essential of natural cuisine.
Packaging: 4 bottles of 500 ml
Ingredients: Japanese plums (Prunus mume) 68%, salt, Shiso leaves (Perilla frutescens).
How to use: Use together with oil to dress salads, instead of vinegar and salt. Vegetable sauce: add a tablespoon of Tahin (sesame cream) to two teaspoons of Ohindo Acidulate and mix well. Used to flavor vegetable and seaweed dishes.
