Nataline is an ancient and prestigious brand of Portuguese sardines in olive oil, well known and appreciated especially in northern Italy.
Only seasonal fish is used to produce them, caught in the Atlantic Ocean off the Portuguese coast in the best period: between August and October.
The sardines, as soon as they land in the ports, are sent to be processed very fresh and selected by size: strictly four sardines per box.
The processing is done by hand by highly specialized workers who place fish by fish in stainless steel trays to then start cooking them in modern autoclaves.

Traceability: Every single package is marked with a lot identification code, which allows the clear identification of a set of finished product units with the same processing characteristics, in order to be able to trace the raw materials, process parameters, packaging used for production.

The decision is to invest in the sea then richer in blue fish, the Upper Adriatic, and buy a sardine and blue fish factory in Marano Lagunare in the province of Udine. Today Igino Mazzola spa distributes the quality of its selections also on the European and non-EU markets. It remains attentive to grasping new tastes of the consumer increasingly prepared for the variety of the diet.
