This Barolo is a blend of nebbiolo grapes from our vineyards in the municipalities of Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Verduno. The color is a beautiful garnet red with orange shades that intensify over time. Perfume intense, complex, delicate and ethereal at the same time; warm, full and dry. Taste soft, enveloping with balanced acidity, with light tannins that offer a good persistence.

Production area: Barolo, Monforte d'Alba and Verduno
Vinification: The grapes, harvested in boxes, are crushed immediately after harvest. It follows a fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for at least 15 days in submerged cap. After alcoholic fermentation, racking takes place and conditions for malolactic are created in the cellar. The wine ages in French Barrique for 36 months and ages in bottle 6 months before being sold.
Alcohol content: 14% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairing: It can be consumed with meat sauces, game, roasts, braised meat, aged or blue cheeses.

The Lo Zoccolaio winery, as well as being a place of excellence for vinification, presents itself with an irresistible charm. Zoccolaio produces exclusively red wines with grapes from its own vineyards located in Barolo, Monforte d 'Alba, Novello and Verduno. Every stage of wine creation is followed with great passion and dedication. The grapes are lovingly cared for and respect for the rhythms of nature is the guideline of the approach used. The harvest is done by hand, without haste, selecting the best bunches to be expressed in the bottle. From the soft pressing of the grapes, to fermentation, to aging, up to the bottle, nothing is neglected, everything happens with respect of tradition but with the most modern methods and tools.
