This wine is a blend obtained with 4 types of wines from our vineyards located in Barolo and Monforte d'Alba. After the harvest made strictly by hand, as per tradition, only the best grapes, coming from each single vineyard, are vinified separately. Thanks to a long aging in barrique this Baccanera is a unique wine with a great personality and longevity. Its special bottle, very heavy, recalls the bottles of the past making it even more valuable.

The Lo Zoccolaio winery, as well as being a place of excellence for vinification, presents itself with an irresistible charm. Zoccolaio produces exclusively red wines with grapes from its own vineyards located in Barolo, Monforte d 'Alba, Novello and Verduno. Every stage of wine creation is followed with great passion and dedication. The grapes are lovingly cared for and respect for the rhythms of nature is the guideline of the approach used. The harvest is done by hand, without haste, selecting the best bunches to be expressed in the bottle. From the soft pressing of the grapes, to fermentation, to aging, up to the bottle, nothing is neglected, everything happens with respect of tradition but with the most modern methods and tools.
