Moonshine Single Cask is a corn distillate, aged in ex-Porto American cask, produced in Portugal.
At sight, the color is amber, on the nose the scents are of dried fruit, the taste is warm and slightly smoky.
Moonshine Single Cask is a distillate of Portuguese production but which has its roots in the United States... at the time of Prohibition when the manufacture of spirits was artisanal and clandestine, forbidden. The smugglers began to produce surrogates called Moonshine, because they were distilled in the moonlight, born from the experimentation of methods unrelated to the traditional ones when the only witness and accomplice of the Evasion is the dark.
Moonshine Single Cask is a corn based distillate, left to mature for three years in American oak barrels previously used to contain Port wine. The combination that is created between cereals and wood gives a strong and slightly smoky taste that underlines the character of this distillate, produced according to the secular secret recipe, a guarantee of flavor bold typical of the moonshine.
