British West Indies is a blend of Rum from zero to eight years old in the tropics in ex-bourbon casks.
It combines the intense flavor of young 'pot still' distilled in Jamaica with rum from both column distillation and pot still produced in Barbados and older rums produced in Trinidad. This blend combines rums of various vintages for a unique character. The rums in this British West Indies blend range from 0 to 8 years of age.
Of a beautiful amber color, spices, tropical fruits, milk chocolate and hints of oak are perceived on the nose. In the mouth aromas of vanilla, coconut, red fruits, chocolate and caramel. Smooth, sweet and bold.
