With this Cognac distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2017, Patrick Drouet experienced double maturation, initially occurred in typical Cognac barrels and ended for a few months in barrels that Pacherenc Du Vil Bilh wine had contained wine, appelation from the Southwest of France near the Pyrenees where a fortified sweet wine similar to Sauternes is produced.
The nose is clearly perceived fruity and honey notes. On the palate it has a very pleasant sweetness.
It is an edition of only 600 numbered bottles.

On September 11, 1897, an ancestor of the current owner Patrick Drouet, deserved a diploma from the “Grand Prix d'Eau de Vie” at the Brussels International Exhibition. Since then, four generations have followed one another, and the Drouet company has expanded to the size of 39 hectares of vineyard, with its own distillery and aging cellar.
