San Marzano is a very delicate tomato, with a thin skin, which maintains its flavor for a long time also with preservation, but which must be handled with care. Cultivated in the very fertile territory, which is mainly found around Naples, and in the Sarno-Nocerino countryside in the province of Salerno, it is recognized by the PDO. Preserved in a soft juice of San Marzano, it is ideal to taste an excellent spaghetti even simple, which enhances the taste.
