Birrificio del Ducato 4 bottles 33 cl - Viaemilia Italian Pilsner

VIAEMILIA is the first beer created by Birrificio del Ducato and is the most awarded Italian Pilsner in the world. Although it looks like a simple "light beer", its processing is long and delicate. It spends almost 5 weeks in the cellar: a week for primary fermentation and over 3 weeks of maturation at 3 ° C (lagering or cold ripening), during which a series of reactions take place that allow the young beer to refine. In this interval of time we add the precious hop flowers that every year, towards the first days of September, we go to select directly from the farmers of Tettnang (a small town in southern Germany, famous for the extraordinary quality of its hops from aroma). It is thanks to this practice (called dry-hopping) that VIAEMILIA expresses its floral and herbaceous aromas. This beer is dedicated to our land, oppressed by thick fog in winter and parched by the merciless sun on summer afternoons.
