Lucente è il secondo vino di Luce, frutto di una selezione degli stessi vigneti, scegliendo le uve in grado di produrre un vino dal profilo contemporaneo, espressione dell’unicità del territorio da cui proviene. Si affina per 12 mesi in barrique nelle cantine della tenuta a Montalcino e viene imbottigliato alla proprietà.Lucente 2005 ha un bel colore rubino di ottima intensità, potente, dai riflessi porpora. Le note olfattive sono eleganti e calibrate: dapprima lievi sentori vanigliati, resi più fini da freschi sentori balsamici. Poi il bagaglio aromatico si arricchisce di note terziarie come pelliccia e cuoio, che fanno poi spazio a note di confettura e di ciliegia. La bocca è avvolta da un corpo largo, che si svolge con regolarità, dove i tannini sono di ottima trama, fini e sottili, ma sempre vivi ed efficaci. Il finale è dolce, gustoso, accattivante.

In 1300, during the exile of Dante Alighieri, his poet friend Dino Frescobaldi brought him back the first seven songs of the Divine Comedy, thus allowing him to complete the work. In 1700, the baroque compositions of the famous musician Girolamo Frescobaldi spread throughout Europe. With great openness to the future, the family's ancestors introduced then unknown vines to Tuscany, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The 20th century is characterized by the action of Vittorio, Ferdinand and Leonardo Frescobaldi who have made an important contribution to raising Tuscany to a place of excellence for viticulture . Today he gathered the baton Lamberto Frescobaldi who, thanks to his long technical experience, aims to further strengthen the uniqueness of the wines of each estate in the family.
