A wine of strong personality, very typical, that will evolve best after a year of stay in the bottle. At an average color intensity, very dense, complex and varied aromas are reflected. In the mouth it is wide, enveloping, with great finesse, good structure, balanced acidity, all in a frame of superior elegance.The grapes of this wine grow around the Barthenau estate at an altitude of 450 m above sea level. The ideal location of this high hill vineyard, with optimal solar radiation and good ventilation, matures the bunches to perfection. Warm days and cool nights ensure high acidity for the aging of wine.

Hofstatter is a historic brand from South Tyrol, an excellence, managed by Martin Foradori, heir to an ancient family of winemakers in the area who had excellent vineyards on the eastern side of the Val d'Adige.
