This famous vine derives from a gemmary mutation of Pinot Noir and, preferring cool climates, finds its ideal habitat in the hills. Livio Felluga vinification gives the wine finesse and elegance, maintaining the soft copper reflections that unmistakably characterize its color. It is certainly the best known Friulian wine in the world.

Harvesting:
Vinification Manual: The grapes are gently de-stemmed and left in maceration for a short period. Subsequently, it is softly pressed and the must obtained is clarified by decantation. The must then ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel containers.
Aging: At the end of fermentation, the wine is kept on the lees in stainless steel containers for six months. Bottled wine is normally stored in thermo-conditioned rooms for about two months.
Colour: yellow with slight copper reflections.
Perfume: elegant, characterized by a? ' balanced fusion of notes of dehydrated apricot, Nashi, bread crust, mulberry blackberry, white raspberries, persimmons, propolis, Amorpha Fruticosa, acacia, white fig.
Taste: savory, harmonious, voluminous, fat; aftertaste that develops through complex and long fruity scents of yellow plum, jujubes, papaya.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Pairings: Particularly suitable for fish dishes, shellfish appetizers, risottos and vegetable pies.
