Bedside lamp with Tiffany welded glass shade and wrought iron support. This lamp was assembled by hand with great skill, welding small pieces of colored glass together, with the same technique developed over a century ago by its creator. Lights, colors and shapes are the hallmark of this lamp with an absolutely contemporary taste but created using the same Tiffany processing technique: the value of the lamp is tangible and highlighted by the color nuances of the glass we have selected. The processing technique to create lampshades and stained glass by lead welding properly shaped and cut colored glass tiles was invented by Luis Confort Tiffany at the end of the 19th century. This technique was then taken up by several Art Nouveau artisans and later to create subjects mainly inspired by nature such as flowers, butterflies, dragonflies and others. Today, ADM creatives have created lamps with an absolutely contemporary taste using the same processing technique.
