PROPE CERASUOLO D'ABRUZZO DOC 2023 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Production area: Vineyards located in Controguerra
Grapes: Montepulciano 100%
Average altitude: 250-300 meters above sea level
Soil: Medium texture, rich in texture
Training system: Spurred cordon
Planting density: 5,000 vines per hectare
Yield per hectare: About 80 quintals
Harvest: The grapes specially selected for rosé vinification are harvested in the first ten days of September.
Fermentation: Once in the cellar the grapes are destemmed and conveyed to the press. The entire environment is inertized with carbonic snow so that the primary scents are not lost, followed by a short cryomaceration for approximately 6 hours which allows maximum extraction of scents. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of around 14/15° C. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is kept on the fine lees for a few months to increase its structure.
Color: Bright bright pink.
Smell: Floral with hints of rose and violet, notes of small red fruits, currants and raspberries.
Taste: Full flavor, typical of the Montepulciano grape variety, stands out with pleasant freshness and intense minerality.
VERDICCHIO DOC 2023 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Production area: Vineyards in the original and oldest area of the Castelli di Jesi
Grapes: 100% Verdicchio
Average altitude: 100 meters above sea level
Soil type: Medium texture tending towards sandy
Training system: Spurred cordon
Planting density: 5,000 vines per hectare
Yield per hectare: approximately 8 quintals of grapes
Yield per vine: approximately 1.5 kg of grapes
Harvest: By hand, early in the morning or late afternoon, in small boxes placed, before arriving in the cellar, in cold rooms.
Fermentation: Verdicchio is obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes which are harvested by hand when they are slightly overripe. These are subjected to soft pressing and the must is collected in refrigeration containers and brought to 5°C for static decantation. Subsequently transferred to steel tanks, it is vinified at a controlled temperature, to preserve its aromatic composition. The wine obtained matures in steel containers, always at a controlled temperature, until sterile bottling.
Color: Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Perfume: Intense and complex, floral and pleasantly fruity, it reveals its character with vegetal notes of aromatic herbs.
Taste: Balanced, persistent, full and savory with a typical pleasantly bitter finish.
PASSERINA MARCHE IGT 2023 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
Production area: Owned vineyards located in Ascoli Piceno
Grapes: 100% Passerina
Average altitude: 200-300 meters above sea level
Soil type: Medium texture tending towards sandy
Training system: Guyot
Planting density: 5,000 vines per hectare
Yield per hectare: approximately 8 quintals of grapes
Yield per vine: approximately 1.5 kg of grapes
Harvest: Mid-September. Harvested by hand, early in the morning or late afternoon, in small boxes placed in refrigerated cells before arriving in the cellar.
Fermentation: A careful selection of the grapes allows only the best bunches to be dedicated to the production of this wine. The soft pressing is followed by an immediate lowering of the temperature, to facilitate decantation and the elimination of suspended substances present in the must. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, between 13 and 15 °C. The subsequent refinement, which lasts until February of the year following the harvest, takes place in thermo-conditioned steel tanks, designed to guarantee a constant temperature of around 10°C necessary to preserve its aromatic heritage.
Color: Bright yellow with faint golden reflections.
Nose: The nose highlights strong floral hints of lime and hawthorn which express roundness and fullness. The ample fruity notes of crunchy pome fruits, first of all the pear, complete the aromatic baggage which ends on an adagio of cedar and ripe grapefruit which, with elegance, give freshness and charm to this white which encourages repeated sipping.
Taste: Freshness and brilliant flavor characterize the gustatory phase of this intriguing and vital wine like a breath of sea breeze. Freshly breathed, it settles in the mouth on the fullness of the pome fruits that characterize the vine. HISTORICAL NOTES: Ancient vine of undoubtedly Adriatic origin. The origin of its name seems to derive from the structure of its small, winged bunch, with quite spherical grapes, of an intense yellow colour, resembling a small sparrow.
