Defined by the Incas as the “Mother of All Seeds” cultivated for over 5000 years on the highlands of the Andes, it finds its origins near Peru and Bolivia. Quinoa is a gluten-free low-calorie food, rich in minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, iron and zinc. An excellent source of protein and vitamins (C, E, B), it contains all 9 essential amino acids needed by our body. It does not require soaking and cooks in just 4/5 minutes.
