Aging: 24 months Type of wood: 30 hl Slavonian oak Organoleptic examination: Sangiovese, during the aging period in oak barrels, becomes an intense ruby colored wine with purple nuances, with a dry, warm, lively, slightly tannic, refined and aromatic flavor, with a pleasant structure and good aromatic persistence. The fresh aromas of the fruit mix with the scents deriving from aging in wood, vanilla and notes of toasted almond. 15% Cabernet gives a more pronounced roundness by mitigating the tannins typical of Sangiovese. Pairings: this wine is particularly suitable to accompany the everyday table and also very suitable for being tasted between meals. It goes perfectly with most first courses based on meat, aged or semi-seasoned cheeses. It is advisable to uncork the bottle an hour before consumption and serve it at a temperature between 18° and 20°.

Marchesato degli Aleramici è una cantina senese che nasce in una delle più antiche zone del mondo coltivate a vigna: quella di Montalcino, precisamente in un antico casale del Podere Galampio, una riserva naturale in cui la foresta scende fino al fiume Ombrone.È proprio qui che vengono prodotti vini storici, come il Brunello di Montalcino e il Rosso di Montalcino, etichette pluripremiate con riconoscimenti ottenuti da Vinitaly, Decanter, James Suckling nonché protagoniste nei locali più rinomati d’Italia e apprezzate da personalità come il Principe Alberto II di Monaco e Luciano Pavarotti.
