Wood type: Slavonian oak from 30 to 60 hl. Organoleptic examination: Sangiovese in the long period of aging in oak barrels, becomes an intense ruby colored wine tending to bright garnet, with a dry, warm, slightly tannic flavor, refined and aromatic, with great structure and remarkable aromatic persistence. Even the scent intensifying over the years is expressed, in complex and varied shapes, from spices to woods, from tobacco to berries. Pairings: this wine is particularly suitable to be accompanied by important meat dishes, roasts of game and grilled meat and strong cheeses, Parmigiano Reggiano, Tuscan pecorino It is also an optimal combination with many dishes of international cuisine: roe deer, goose, rib, lamb, duck. It is advisable to uncork the bottle a few hours before consumption and serve it at a temperature between 18° and 20°.
