Bright golden yellow, the bouquet is intense with notes of honey, flowers, vanilla and noble woods. Sweet and full flavor, it has a good body and an excellent balance between acidity and sugar.

Grapes: 100% Vespaiola
Vinification: drying in the fruit cellar of carefully selected grapes for four months.
Aging: for one year in French oak barriques for 1/3 new and 2/3 second passage.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Residual sugar: 155 g/l
Pairings: Excellent pairing with small dry pastries or typical sweets such as “fregolota”. For those who like it, we recommend trying Torcolato with medium or long-aged cheeses, for example Asiago Stravecchio, or blue wines with intense flavors.

The Maculan Family for Three generations selects and vinifies the best grapes of Breganze, an enchanting town at the foot of the Asiago Plateau with a mild climate that favors cultivation of the vine and the olive tree. The hills of Breganze offer an ideal soil for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tai and Vespaiolo and make it possible to obtain high quality wines. The activity begins in 1947 thanks to the commitment and will of Giovanni Maculan and over the years it passes into the hands of Fausto Maculan who, with stubborn and immense passion, brought it to reality current. Since 2007, daughters Angela and Maria Vittoria have enthusiastically supported their father in the management of the company. The company cultivates about 40 hectares with vines and olive trees and directly controls about thirty selected winemakers. The winery is located in the historic center of Breganze and is the scene of the wonderful marriage between the ancient tradition and the most innovative oenological technique. This makes it possible to produce great wines, appreciated all over the world.
