Maculan 3 bottles - “Three Faces” Sparkling Brut Classic Method 2017

Sparkling Brut Classic Method brilliant straw yellow with clear green reflections and a minute and persistent perlage. On the olfactory examination, it releases the scent of bread crust, ripe fruit with notes of peach and a memory of fresh yogurt. In the mouth it is dry but with good softness in balance with a citrus freshness. Persistent, pleasant, pleasant with a long finish.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Vinification: manual harvest and selection, soft pressing. Only 50% of the must is used in the cuvée.
Fermentation: 90% in steel tanks, 10% in French oak barrels.
Draft: 36 months in bottle on the lees.
Alcohol content: 12.5% Vol.
Pairings: Excellent for aperitifs and appetizers.

The Maculan Family for Three generations selects and vinifies the best grapes of Breganze, an enchanting town at the foot of the Asiago Plateau with a mild climate that favors cultivation of the vine and the olive tree. The hills of Breganze offer an ideal soil for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tai and Vespaiolo and make it possible to obtain high quality wines. The activity begins in 1947 thanks to the commitment and will of Giovanni Maculan and over the years it passes into the hands of Fausto Maculan who, with stubborn and immense passion, brought it to reality current. Since 2007, daughters Angela and Maria Vittoria have enthusiastically supported their father in the management of the company. The company cultivates about 40 hectares with vines and olive trees and directly controls about thirty selected winemakers. The winery is located in the historic center of Breganze and is the scene of the wonderful marriage between the ancient tradition and the most innovative oenological technique. This makes it possible to produce great wines, appreciated all over the world.
