Strong straw yellow with almost golden reflections, rich and intense aroma of ripe grapes with hints of butter, almond, vanilla and delicate toasted wood. Rich, dry taste of good balance with ripe fruity sensations and remarkable persistence.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay
Vinification: cold maceration for two days and soft pressing in hyper-reduction.
Aging: fermentation in new French Allier barriques and resting in barriques on the “mild” for five months. Then twelve months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 13.5% Vol.
Pairings: suitable for savory dishes, whether they are soups or fish, but also goes well with white meats. It can be “forgotten” in the cellar for about ten years!

The Maculan Family for Three generations selects and vinifies the best grapes of Breganze, an enchanting town at the foot of the Asiago Plateau with a mild climate that favors cultivation of the vine and the olive tree. The hills of Breganze offer an ideal soil for grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Tai and Vespaiolo and make it possible to obtain high quality wines. The activity begins in 1947 thanks to the commitment and will of Giovanni Maculan and over the years it passes into the hands of Fausto Maculan who, with stubborn and immense passion, brought it to reality current. Since 2007, daughters Angela and Maria Vittoria have enthusiastically supported their father in the management of the company. The company cultivates about 40 hectares with vines and olive trees and directly controls about thirty selected winemakers. The winery is located in the historic center of Breganze and is the scene of the wonderful marriage between the ancient tradition and the most innovative oenological technique. This makes it possible to produce great wines, appreciated all over the world.
