Elena Walch's Müller Thurgau is a white wine obtained from 100% hand-harvested Müller Thurgau grapes. The original vineyards, exposed to the South-East and South-West, insist on limestone soils characterized by clay and sandy veins, at an altitude between 350 and 650 meters above sea level. During winemaking, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 18°C. The refinement took place for a few months in stainless steel in contact with the yeasts.
MULLER THURGAU ELENA WALCH: THE TASTING
Elena Walch's Müller Thurgau presents itself to the eye with a brilliant straw yellow colour. On the nose, aromas of apricot and yellow fruit emerge intertwined with hints of aromatic herbs and light spicy notes of muscat mocha. The taste is fresh and pleasant, with good flavor and persistence. Excellent as an aperitif, at the table it goes well with cheeses and vegetarian dishes as well as delicious preparations based on white fish, molluscs and crustaceans.
