Vola Vola Viognier is a very exclusive grape variety. It has also been cultivated in Italy for a short time with excellent results especially in Sicily. the wine is decidedly dry, elegant, really classy.

In Sicily this grape has spread considerably since mid-nineties. The best productions are undoubtedly obtained from vineyards from land located around 400 meters above sea level and beyond. The fresh version, vinified in steel, is the one by far prevalent among Sicilian producers, a choice shared also by our winery.

Moscato grapes, precisely the “Moscato d'Alessandria” variety, apparently native to Egypt, was introduced in Sicily and took the name of zibibbo, from the Arabic zabib “raisin”. Historically, Zibibbo is used to produce sweet wines, yet its grapes are perfectly suited to the production of excellent dry white table wines, an example is our Taif wine.
