The Chardonnay Branciforti dei Bordonaro comes from the lush hills of Tenuta di Gelso Grande, 300 meters above the sea, on medium-textured soils tending towards clayey. We are in the Trapani countryside, between Mount Erice and the Egadi Islands. Harvested in the first days of August, the Chardonnay is vinified in steel vats with temperature control (the temperature control serves to ensure that the fermentation develops slowly and constantly and that there are no fermentation blocks, with the death of the wine yeasts and the possible triggering of fermentations by other fungi or unsuitable bacteria; in the case of whites and rosés, it is also particularly important to preserve the aromas). The wine ages for two months in steel and another month in the bottle.

Chardonnay Branciforti has a beautiful straw yellow with golden reflections; on the nose it is gentle with notes of summer fruit, peach and apricot first, with hints of Mediterranean aromatic herbs. In the mouth it is delicate and balanced, perfect to accompany a start to a dinner with raw seafood.
