Bellavista's Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato was obtained from 62% Chardonnay and 38% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the company's vineyards made up of vines with an average age of 25 years. The winemaking process took place in steel, while the choice of base wines with which to create the cuvée took place from 30 harvest selections. After blending, the wine was aged 40% in stainless steel and 60% in small white oak barrels for a period of 24 months. In compliance with the Champenoise Method, Bellavista's Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato 2017 is the result of refermentation in the bottle with a rest of 36 months in contact with the yeasts.
FRANCIACORTA ROSÈ BRUT: TASTING
Bellavista's Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato seduces the eye with its pale pink color enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, enveloping aromas of strawberries, blackcurrants and small berries emerge which intertwine with floral hints of rose and fragrant hints of bread crust and brioche with timid hints of citrus. The sip is rich and creamy, characterized by a well-integrated freshness and an elegant minerality that lasts in the long finish. At the table it pairs well with cured meats and semi-mature cheeses as well as vegetarian dishes and tasty seafood recipes.
