Bellavista Franciacorta Brut Docg Teatro Alla Scala 2017 - Bellavista [boxed] 0.75 lt

The Franciacorta Teatro alla Scala in Bellavista has become a symbol and tribute of the theater season, a new vintage to open each new season; the 2016 accompanies the 2019-2020 program. The 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir come from vineyards selected by age (over 25 years), exposure (south and south-east) and altitude (from 180 to 350 masl). The harvest took place in the first half of September; a part of the base wines fermented and aged in white oak barriques and another part in steel; the assembly of the wines rested on the yeasts for more than 4 years.
FRANCIACORTA TEATRO ALLA SCALA BELLAVISTA: THE TASTING
The Bellavista Teatro alla Scala shows itself in the glass with a brilliant straw yellow, with gold-green reflections and a very fine perlage. On the nose it is elegant, with hints of white fruit, hawthorn and elderberry flowers, hints of almonds and pastries, candied citrus fruits and iodine trails. The sip is fresh, dynamic, harmonious, with a marine aftertaste, almost oyster-like and with citrus acidity. A great pairing with red prawn tartare, or with 36 month parmesan, or even with fried courgette flowers stuffed with anchovies.
