Altemasi's Riserva Graal is one of the most interesting Classic Methods of the denomination. The grapes, 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, come from very suitable areas, the hills of Trento, the Brentonico plateau and the Valle dei Laghi, between 450 and 600 meters above sea level. Part of the base wine ferments and matures in small French oak barrels, and after blending and secondary fermentation, the rest on the yeasts lasts for over 60 months.
TRENTO DOC RISERVA GRAAL ALTEMASI: TASTING
Altemasi's Trento DOC Riserva Graal is straw yellow with a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it is inebriating, with varied hints of chamomile, candied apple, honey, cedar, aromatic herbs, hazelnut and brioche bread. In the mouth it is gratifying and enveloping, with perfectly balanced freshness, flavor and softness and precise taste-olfactory coherence; the closure is long and mineral. Delicious with späztle with tench sauce, as with cheese dumplings with mountain butter.
