The Ripasso Acinatico DOC of the Accordini winery is obtained from a Valpolicella Classico through a second fermentation and a second maceration on the still slightly sweet pomace of the Amarone and Recioto. After aging in Slavonian oak barrels and 18-month barriques, a wine with a deep ruby red color and an intense aroma reminiscent of ripe fruit, spices and hints of tobacco is obtained. On the palate it is full-bodied, generous and persistent, leaving the mouth pleasantly dry and savory.
