Tommasi 3 bottles - "Le Prunée" Merlot IGT delle Venezie 2019

In our LE PRUNÉE estate in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella, we also wanted to experiment with particular clones of non-native vines. Among these is the Merlot which here finds a mixed gravelly, alluvial soil. Severe pruning and a dense plant, with extremely low yields, allow us to obtain a grape of particular richness.

Packaging: 3 bottles of 75 cl Vines: Merlot 100%. Vineyard: LE PRUNÈE vineyard in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. Alcohol content: 12.5% Vol. Aging: 12 months in 65 Hl Slavonian oak barrels. Tasting notes: Bright ruby red with violet reflections. The scent has a rich bouquet, with hints of raspberry. The palate is dense, soft and persistent. Pairings: First courses with meat sauce, white meats and fresh cheeses. Serving temperature: 16-18°C
