Safranum saffron is harvested and divided with a double control pass in order to carefully select both the pistils and the flowers; this is to satisfy even the most demanding chefs in quality. Dried for a long time and at a low temperature to avoid a thermal shock, it thus reaches a 3-year expiry date thanks to the very low residual humidity. Used since ancient times as a remedy for many diseases, saffron has been rediscovered in modern medicine. It has been recognized various properties: digestive, stimulating the nervous system, anti-stress, strengthening the body's defenses, anti-carcinogenic action, control of blood pressure, slowing down the formation of plaques and deposits on the arteries. It is packaged in glass and with a case in order to protect it from light that causes oxidation in the long term.

- put the stigmas in a cup with hot broth (you can also use water or milk).
- leave to infuse for 40/60 minutes.
- Pour everything into your recipe, if possible at the end of cooking. Doses
For 4/5 servings: 0.15 gr. of stigmas
For 10/12 servings: 0.30 gr. of stigmas
For 20/22 servings: 0.50 gr. of stigmas
For an herbal tea, 5/7 stigmas are sufficient, infused for 10 minutes.
