The 1996 harvest is perfect: power, acidity: there are all the conditions to produce an exceptional vintage. This impression will be largely confirmed by the tasters and the vintages of '96 of Champagne will remain in everyone's memory. The 1996 Millésime is made up of a selection of grapes from a Grand Cru from the Cóte des Blancs (Avize), 3 Grands and 1er Crus from the Montagne de Reims (Mailly, Mareuil/Ay et Villers Marmery). As always, Bruno Paillard uses only the first pressing, the purest. 1996 is produced in limited quantities. This unique blend of Chardonnay - 52% - and Pinot Noir - 48% - perfectly expresses the typicality of the vintage. It has a color of a beautiful pale gold, revealing a light aroma of spice bread and followed by notes of brioche and candied fruit. Its persistence in the mouth is alive and soft with a sparkling and exotically citrus final aftertaste.

This maison was born from the desire of its founder to create a champagne very different from the others, very pure. A great champagne is first and foremost an assembly wine: first of all crus, grapes, but also thousandths... always with this desire to grasp the quintessential finesse and elegance that Champagne can offer when it is served lovingly. This very personal style is the union of elegance and complexity: it translates into a light and creamy effervescence, an extraordinary purity, an authentic minerality and a silky vinosity. Complexity is the opposite of heaviness: it is the ally of elegance contrary to what is sometimes thought. It is expressed with purity in the balance and depth of the wines. Complexity thrives with age.
