Poggiomasso nasce con l’obiettivo di produrre vini di montagna certificati cervim.L’azienda e i vigneti si trovano a Rocca Sinibalda posta nella Sabina orientale, a quote collinari, nella valle del Turano, il corridoio naturale che dai margini sud-orientali della Piana di Rieti va verso Carsoli attraverso il lago del Turano circondata da folti boschi parzialmente interrotti da aree prative.Alle spalle ad est si erge il gruppo montuoso del Monte Navegna e del Monte Cervia che lo separano dalla zona del lago del Salto. Qui vengono coltivate uve a bacca rossa Montepulciano, Sangiovese e Cesanese e uve a bacca bianca Sauvignon, Pinot Bianco e Chardonnay.
