3 mixed bottles to taste three different wines from the Tommasi winery:

From the dried grapes used for the production of Amarone, immediately after fermentation, the best selection of Valpolicella, to start the second fermentation that enriches the bouquet of aromas, the alcohol content, and the complexity of this wine.
Color: Intense ruby red
Aroma: Intense with hints of ripe cherry and plum
Taste: Fresh and persistent, with soft and silky tannins. Dominant cherry, vanilla notes.
Grapes: Corvina Veronese 70% - Rondinella 25% - Corvinone 5%
Origin: Hilly area of Valpolicella Classica, Conca d'Oro vineyards, La Groletta, Valpolicella Classica.
Vinification and aging: Fermentation in steel barrels for about 9 days. Refermented on the Amarone pomace for about 12/13 days. 15 months in 65 hl Slavonian oak barrels. 6 months of aging in bottle.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C
First vintage: 1995
Pairing: pasta with meat sauces, boiled and stewed, perfect with grilled meat.
VALPOLICELLA DOC 2021 - 1 bottle of 0.75 lt
The traditional wine. Since 1902 Valpolicella Tommasi has been synonymous with quality and fragrance. A wine to rediscover.
Color: Ruby red
Aroma: very fresh and fruity with notes of cherry.
Taste: Balanced and gentle, with hints of cherry and fresh red fruits.
Grapes: Corvina Veronese 60% - Rondinella 30% - Molinara 10%
Aging: 12 days of fermentation in stainless steel barrels.
Aging: 4 months of aging in stainless steel barrels.
Alcohol content: 12% Vol.
Serving temperature: 17-18°C
Pairing: First courses, white meats and fresh cheeses.
ARELE DELLE VENEZIE IGT 2018 - 1 0.75 lt bottle
Arele was born from the deep experience of the Tommasi family in drying grapes, combining cleverly indigenous and international vines, to create a unique wine with a strong character.
Color: Intense ruby red
Aroma: Great bouquet with strong fruity, ripe red fruit, and spicy scents, great harmony.
Taste: Warm, soft, and full-bodied, its persistence creates the desire to taste another glass.
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, Merlot
Origin: Hilly area of Valpolicella Classica.
Vinification and aging: Partial drying of the grapes, for about 30 days. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25/30°C for 8 days. 12 months of aging in 65 hl Slavonian oak barrels.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C
First vintage: 2010
Pairings: Perfect with pasta with full-bodied sauces, risotto, cold cuts and white and red meats.
